Why do I need a consultation/evaluation?

We require free one time consultations and evaluations in order to not only get a good understanding of what is happening with your pup, but to know about your goals and expectations. Whether it be for boarding, daycare, or training please understand how important these evaluations are!

What does my dog's typical day look like at Karma K9?

At Karma K9, we wake up bright and early every morning around 5:45 am to get your dogs day started! We have 10 different fenced in yards that we allow small play groups of dogs to utilize based off of their temperament and sociability. Throughout the day, they will cycle between play sessions, training sessions, and feeding/nap times!

Will my dog lose weight while at the facility?

Absolutely not! We know that a dramatic change in environment can be stressful for your dog, so we do everything we possibly can to accommodate your routines and schedules. By giving us an up to date medication/feeding schedule, we will make sure we keep everything just the way you like it to alleviate any stress or confusion for your dog.

What vaccinations does my dog need in order to stay at the facility?

Please make sure your dog is up to date on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Lepto, Distemper, and Bordetella. The health and safety of all animals in the facility is incredibly important to us.

What age can my dog begin training?

We offer programs that start dogs at varying ages. Our Puppy Life Skills hybrid program gets you guys in the door as early as 3 months old! Your dog is never too young or too old to start learning.

If my dogs needs medications or special feeding procedures, will you follow them?

Yes! We ask that you bring any and all medications with updated instructions on dosage and frequency in order to keep your dog as healthy and happy as possible. The same goes for diet and feeding routines!
